Working with MP3 ID3 Tags in FTP Server Using PHP - Install the GetID3 () application in your web server

When you have the proper system requirements to support the application, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Download GetID3 () PHP application here: http://getid3.sourceforge.net/. download the latest stable version. As of the time this tutorial was written, the stable release version is 1.7.9.
Step 2: After downloading, right click on the zip file.
Step 3: Click “Extract to getid3-1.7.9”
Step 4: Within the folder, you should see three folders (demos, getid3 and helperapps). The rest are .txt files like changelog, readme, etc. See screen shot below:
