Install Slackware on Your Old PC - Download the File and Make Your Install Disk

Download the file and burn the ISO file. If you have never done this before, then you need to follow instructions. This is not as simple as adding the data files and clicking "burn." Here are instructions for a few popular tools that can get your disk up and running.
GEAR ISO Burn*
Get it at: http://www.gearsoftware.com/GEAR-ISO-Burn.php
Instructions:
1) Start GEAR ISO Burn
2) Browse for the ISO-file
3) Click "Burn"
Active@ ISO Burner
Get it at: http://www.ntfs.com/iso_burner_free.htm
Instructions:
1) Download the ISO CD image to a folder on your computer.
2) Insert a blank CD in your CD-RW or Combo drive.
3) Run Active@ ISO Burner.
4) Click the "Browse" button to locate it via standard File Open dialog.
5) Click the [BURN ISO!] button to start the process of writing the ISO image to CD.

Instructions:
1. Browse to the ISO-file you want to burn to the disk.
2. Select the ISO file then right click on the word "now."
3. Choose "Burn using ImgBurn."
Burn4Free
Get it at: http://www.burn4free.com/
Instructions:
1. Start Burn4Free
2. Choose "Drive"
3. Choose "Burn ISO"
4. Browse to the ISO file you want to burn on CD/DVD
5. Select the ISO file
6. Confirm the dialog now with "Yes"
Each of these choices is free, so go ahead and get the one that you like the best.
