Firefox Plugins You`re Not Using (and Should!)

According to many different statistics, Mozilla Firefox is the most popular Web browser among US-based Internet users. This single browser commanded a nearly 50% share of online users in 2009 (w3schools, November), numbers consistent with the last few years. But are you taking full advantage of everything the Internet’s most-used browser has to offer? Find out more about the many Firefox plugins you’re not using -- and should!

    Mozilla Firefox

The first version of Mozilla Firefox (1.0) was released to the public in November 2004, a new, free Web browser that offered the best in pop-up blocking and Web-cruising for users who wanted to enjoy a casual surfing experience. Within years, Firefox soared to the top of the heap as the most-used, best-loved browser on the Internet.

Though many others (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc.) strive to offer plenty of features and compelling tidbits, Firefox still reigns as King of the Hill. And here’s the interesting part: many users don’t even take advantage of its full potential. There’s much more to Firefox than what you get from the original download, so why aren’t you enjoying it?

For those who are content to surf the Web with few pop-ups and many helpful bookmarking tools, Firefox offers all the hassle-free online surfing users could want. This browser does a whole lot more than cruise the Internet with ease, however. Find out which Firefox plugins you should stop ignoring.
