    10 Must Have Firefox Improvements

If you wish your browser could do more for you, guess what? If you use Firefox, it can. The question is, what exactly do you want it to do? The improvements featured in this article should give you some ideas.

We all have a web browser that we like to use for our day-to-day browsing needs such as checking e-mail, doing online banking, making blog posts, reading the news or just doing some research for the paper that's due next Tuesday. No matter what your web browsing needs are, we all know that some browsers can make things easier than others.

I am not talking about problems with browser compatibility issues with the sites, though I am willing to bet that anyone who has used Internet Explorer 6 or Safari has come across this problem at least once in awhile. I am talking about those little enhancements that you can make to your web browser. Things like plug-ins and toolbars that have the ability to give you an advantage when browsing. What kind of an advantage? Well, advantages like:

    • Contributing to a good cause, like helping to buy carbon offsets and cleaning up the environment.
    • Allowing you easier access to the websites that you already know, love and use on a daily basis.
    • Giving you web browser features that it does not normally have on a daily basis, such as specialized search results.
    • Helping you to find cool new sites that you may enjoy.
    • Allowing you to rate the sites that you access in order to express your affection or just help others to find the site/post.
    • Help you to manage your bookmarks, accounts, profiles or friends.

This is just a sampling of the things that a well-placed toolbar or a plug-in can do to make your life online a little bit better.
