I originaly designed this for my wife who is a Histology-pathologist. She wished to share microscope-foto's of tissue with collegues all over Europe and be able to discuss the images with them.
But you can use it to share fotos of all kinds with a selected group of people (you need to log in). The system uses Mysql only to store the data about the picture and the place where it has been uploaded to together with the comments. Also there is an E-mail list where you can subscribe to, to be informed when a new picture has been uploaded.
